The conventional wisdom is that it takes a couple seasons for an established series to spawn a successful spin-off. The Jeffersons, Flo, Laverne and Shirley, After-MASH, each needed character growth on the parent show before going off on its own.

The Interview-A-Tron doesn’t care about conventional wisdom. Its borg like dominance and terminator-esque persistence allows it to spin-off after only one episode.

So here’s the scoop. Jared Nieters (Haymarket Bicycles/HomeVisit) has rebranded the Robot Diary as The Interview-a-Tron.
