DCCX Helmet-Cam: Masters 3/4

DCCX took place October 25, 2009, on the grounds of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Washington, D.C. A beautiful day for racing and spectating. As always, there was good competition, good food and good times.

In ‘cross luck lurks around every corner. Sometimes it’s good. Sometimes it’s bad.  At the 2:00 minute mark, the bad kind jumped out and got me. But that’s racin’. Get up and go. Dust off later.

Thanks for watching.

  1. You were like a cat, leaping the handlebars I take it? Way to stay in the game Bill. Another nice video of a great race. Only upset I crashed myself out on lap 3. Little whiplash hangover this morning from hitting the deck on the gravel turn at the far point of the course.

Looking forward already to the next race video.

  2. You need to be in front of me for the first 9 minutes and 55 seconds of the race. After that, nobody will know if you got passed or not. This will hold true for any race I’m filming. Unless YouTube changes their limits.

  3. Great vid, as usual. Your little incident was minor compared to mine. By that point I had gone down 2x; 1 due total stoppage on the steep left turn and #2 due to a guy going down in front of me and me doing an endo. Not a good day for me, although I guess I made it farther than Tambeaux.
