For episode 2.3 of LIKEAVOS we head to Milton Keynes for round 3 of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup. Sanne Cant, the young Belgian National Champion goes head to head with US champion Katie Compton in a battle for the ages. The track features technical off-camber sections made even more difficult by muddy conditions. Staying upright on and off the bike is a challenge and those who do it best have the greatest chance to win. This is hands down one of the most exciting races of the year.
LIKEAVOS is presented by Skills Drills and Bellyaches: A Cyclocross Primer, available at cyclocrossbook.com. Please also check out everything at crosshairscycling.com/shop.

What a race! thanks a ton for the sweet recap.
Really a fantastic duel! (and always good music 😉 )
Yes! Great stuff! Thanks Bill!
Is Compton’s rear tire nearly flat at the finish?
The rear of her bike seems a little loose.
I know 18 psi or so is squishy, but it doesn’t look right.
Bill,
My daughter and I watch these videos and love every moment of them. Your dissection, commentating, knowledge and humor are the perfect ending to any evening. I’ve learned a ton about my own racing through these and appreciate it a ton! We check back on a daily basis to see if new videos have been posted.
Addictedly yours,
Spencer and Oci
Hey John- according to Mark Legg, Katie was running her tires at 14 psi. They definitely looked flat but that’s what the conditions called for. Cant also was at 14. If you look at stills of the finish you can see Sanne’s rear trim is also almost bottoming out.
Maybe the most thrilling race of the season! Great job yourself, as usual.
