CXNATS Louisville | The Makeover

We still haven’t closed the books on Ruts N Guts, which finished, yesterday, and are already on the ground in Louisville, Kentucky, for the U.S. Cyclocross National Championships. It was a mad dash from the airport, late this afternoon, to Joe Creason Park, the U.S. CXNATS venue, to do a track walk and shoot some photos of the venue.

If you saw the preview CXHAIRS posted one month ago, it included many photos of what the organizers envisioned the track looking like in December. The raw material was all there, but it didn’t really look like a cyclocross track.

So to start our CXNATS coverage, I thought it would be fun to look at the transformation the venue underwent from October 30 to December 10.

  1. Great coverage by CXHairs as usual – bringing US cross alive – especially for those of who DTIE! Here’s hoping the racing will be as good as results this year indicate – both men’s and women’s races a total must see – so a big thank you to USAC for the live stream.
