The Full Set includes the Race Diary, Training Log, Cyclocross Passport, and Information Card, housed in a leather cover made by hand by Jeff Wager at Woodpecker Axe & Leather Co., working off-grid in Cooperstown, New York.
The cover is cut from buck brown full-grain vegetable-tanned leather from Wickett & Craig, the Curwensville, Pennsylvania tannery that has been veg-tanning hides since 1867. Veg-tan is the slow way to do it, and it is the reason the cover will darken and soften and start looking like yours instead of like everyone else’s. The Track + Plank logo is debossed into the front with a custom stamp.
Three red nylon elastic bands run vertically down the spine to hold the inserts, and a fourth runs horizontally to keep the cover closed. The cords are knotted by hand, with no hardware to rattle or snag. The Information Card tucks inside any of the inserts.
